American Numismatic Rarities is the premier rare coin company in New England. Their site allows visitors
to view current coin industry information and shop for coins and other numismatic materials.
ANR Coins conducts exciting auctions at numismatic conventions around the country. Coin collectors
around the world can actively participate in these auctions using the anrcoins.com website. The
auction section features an innovative interface that allows the bidder to see and react to
the bidding action as if he was there in person.
USEDFURNITUREFINDEX.COM
UsedFurnitureFindex is a web site which allows users to "Find Home Furnishings, Once Loved" meaning used furniture. Potential buyers can search by furniture type, condition, price range, dimension and proximity. Sellers can post pictures, descriptions, style and more. The site is peer-to-peer and allows buyers and sellers to connect and arrange for payment and transport of used furniture. Other categories include art, garage sale, table top and more.
DAVID HALL RARE COINS
Since its founding in 1977, David Hall Rare Coins (DHRC) has specialized exclusively in gem quality
rare coins and has consistently led the worldwide market in the sale of these treasures. The
David Hall web site features and extensive
inventory of rare coins, shopping
cart and PayPal support. The site also uses an online content editor to make daily changes to
articles and the
Market Update section.
DELAWARE VALLEY RARE COIN COMPANY
Delaware Valley Rare Coin is a rare coin industry leader located in southeastern Pennsylvania.
Their website showcases their brand new logo and information about the company. In the
Gallery
section of the site, the user can select how they would like to have the coins displayed to
help them while browsing.
LOSE YOUR MIND DEVELOPMENT
This is Bryan's page for Printer's Apprentice and other font management products.
Lose Your Mind Development is a good model for a software sales web site. He has pages for
production information, technical support, FAQs, downloads, etc. The news and links pages are
all built using databases.
MARKET PROS
This was a commission tracking system with a VFP-based application which controlled maintenance of Regions
(e.g. Denver, San Francisco, etc.), Salespeople, Sales Managers, Product Listings, as well as
Commission Rates by Product by Region and Commissions and Sales. Vega created a web-based
interface for Sales Managers to enter their daily sales directly. The daily data
was then downloaded so that commission reports could be run. Some reports were
hard copy, others were text files that could be sent as e-mail attachments.
INTERNET SOUND FILE DEMONSTRATION
This is a presentation of the different file formats
for delivering sound on the web. You can listen to and compare each file as well
as view the file type, rate and size. The three file formats are MP3, Windows
Media and Real Media.
VIDEO ON THE WEB
This demonstration shows the different formats and methods of delivery for video on the web. The formats covered
are AVI and MPEG.
FLASH DEMONSTRATION
